Fidget Toys
Handheld toys are often used to provide sensory input in a less distracting way. They can help improve concentration and help calm busy hands. Fidget toys can help the user “filter out” the excess sensory information in their surroundings and in their own body which may be causing distraction, instead, the sensory information is focused on the fidget toy in the users hands.
